What Is MicroFinish and What Does it Do?
MicroFinish technology is an innovative design application by Towa. It is essentially the concentration of a latex coating in the palm and thumb area in order to enhance and strengthen your grip. Grip strength and stability are essential when gardening, as you frequently carry around tools and plant pots that could be damaged if dropped. See the video below or more information and for a demonstration of just how MicroFinish works:
What Will Towa Moss Green Gardening Gloves Protect Against?
Towa 394 Gloves offer protection against everything you would expect to come up against when maintaining your garden. This includes:
- Sunlight
- Light Cuts
- Scrapes and Scratches
- Stings
- Dirt, Soil and Mud
- Debris from Plants and Trees
The extended wrist cuff on Towa 394 Gloves prevents dirt and debris from entering the glove
How Does Latex Protect Your Hands?
Latex is a compound similar to rubber and silicone. It has a number of protective properties, including buffering gloves against scuffs, scrapes and scratches that might otherwise damage the fabric or material of the glove itself. When used as a coating, latex becomes water-resistant, meaning it will deflect large amounts of liquid and fluid. Latex also has the benefit of being tightly compressed and springy. In practice, this means that whilst Towa TOW394 Gloves allow a great deal of flexibility, they also rebound once relaxed into a tight, snug cushion that adheres nicely to your hand.
