Please Note: That these gloves are designed for handling extremely cold materials. We wouldn't recommend them for simple, cold outdoor work. However, if your work means that you have to handle items that are far below freezing, then these gloves are ideal.
What Temperatures Can These Freezer Gloves Protect Against?
These gloves are designed for people who work with materials that are below freezing. This can include cryogenics, dry ice handling, bottle handling and scientific work. They are most suitable when handling solid materials that are typically between -125°C and -150°C.
Protection Against Splashes of Liquid Nitrogen
One of the main uses of the cryogenic gloves is to protect against spills and splashes of cryogenic materials, including liquid nitrogen. This can occur when pouring, or just generally working with, ultra-cold cryogenic materials. The Cryogenic Gloves, material is designed to protect from splashes at -196°C.
