Key Features and Attributes

  • Nitrile coating matches pliability and dexterity with safety for secure productivity
  • Patented dorsal impact reducing protection provides abrasion, cut, tear and puncture resistance
  • Thermo-plastic rubber armour covers back of the palm to create a raised and tough protective shield
  • Reinforced sandy nitrile dip provides excellent grip strength in all conditions
  • Available in four sizes
  • 13 gauge HPPE seamless wrist knit for additional protection in the wrist area against cuts

What Is Dorsal Impact Reducing Protection?

Dorsal Impact Protection (DIR) is a patented Ergodyne technology that coats the glove in moulded rubber, made with a combination of technical foams to create a tough, stubborn armour on the top of the glove. The protection is located on the fingers, thumb and the top of the palm to minimise any risk of injury whilst allowing you to maintain the necessary dexterity to complete complex tasks.

How Does Nitrile Coating Add Extra Protection?

Nitrile is an incredibly flexible coating that provides additional resistance to oil, fuel and chemicals. Nitrile is used as a protective coating in gloves because it matches the pliability of latex with the hazard and injury protection properties of a heavier, woven glove. The nitrile coating on Ergodyne ProFlex 922CR gloves means sustained flexibility and movement in the fingers and thumb, meaning zero compromise to grip strength or dexterity. The nitrile coating on ProFlex 922CR gloves is also dipped in sandy nitrile to provide excellent adhesion and grip.

What Is Thermo Plastic Rubber (TPR) Armour?

Thermo-plastic rubber armour is a lightweight material that is traditionally manufactured into a hard, stubborn mould that is applied to the back of a glove across the hand and finger areas. Creating a raised mound, when coupled with a nitrile coating and dorsal impact protection, the armour ensures protection from impact and injury.
