What Does Light Industry Mean?
Light industry refers to professions and departments like packing, picking, warehouse management and cargo handling. Whilst these environments can be gruelling, it's usually an accumulation of small abrasions, cuts and tears that break a glove down. Delta Plus Gloves have a higher than standard abrasion resistance rating, ensuring they're ready to go in these environments.
Benefits of a Polyurethane Coating
Polyurethane is an incredibly flexible coating. This is beneficial because it preserves dexterity and accuracy in the fingers. A heavier glove does not allow a high degree of finger movement, thus reducing the users ability to perform precise and dexterous tasks. A polyurethane coating has a lightweight feel to it that moulds the glove to the natural contour of your hand.
Why a Palm and Finger Coating?
Leaving the back of the glove open allows the hand to breathe and release odour and perspiration throughout the day. A full coating seals the glove shut, preventing this. If you prefer a slightly lighter, less bulky fit, a palm coating provides a lightweight fit without compromising on safety and protection where it matters most.
Applications of the Polyamide Knitted Work Gloves
Delta Plus VE702PG Knitted Work Gloves feature a polyurethane coating on the palms and fingertips that increases their resilience in the face of abrasions. Due to their excellent resistance and water-repellent properties, Delta Plus VE702PG Gloves are ideal for the following tasks:

The EN 388 cut resistance test uses a single sharp implement to repeatedly pressure a glove in order to determine the amount of force required to cause visible and functional damage.
Hazard | Resistance Rating |
Abrasion Resistance | Level 4 |
Cut Resistance | Level 1 |
Tear Resistance | Level 2 |
