Performance Ratings
Ultimate Industrial A930 Gloves provide protection against a range of chemical and mechanical hazards. Please view the information and tables below for a better understand of what this means.
EN 388
EN 388 is a European Standard governing the sale of gloves sold for safety and protection. It determines the gloves performance when used whilst working in and around mechanical machinery. It tests for abrasion, cut, tear and puncture resistant.
Please view the table below to see how A930 Gloves performed:
Standard | Resistance Level |
Abrasion Resistance | Level 3 |
Cut Resistance | Level 1 |
Tear Resistance | Level 2 |
Puncture Resistance | Level 1 |

EN 374-1
EN 374-1 is a European Regulation specifying a list of chemicals that gloves protect against. The letter following the rating indicates how many of these test chemicals a pair of gloves is resistant to and for how long.
A930 Gloves are Type C chemical resistant gloves. This means they have achieved up to ten minutes of resistance against at least one of the chemicals listed below:
Chemical | Resistance Level |
Sulphuric Acid (96%) (L) | Up to 10 minutes permeation/penetration resistance |

Why Is Nitrile Used As a Coating?
Nitrile is used as a coating because it is incredibly flexible and hardwearing. It contains tiny bubbles that trap oil, fuel, chemicals and dirt, aiding and enhancing with grip strength and stability. Nitrile is also waterproof, making a nitrile coated glove ideal for outdoor use.
Nitrile matches the pliability of latex with the hazard and injury protection properties of a heavier, woven glove.
Improve Your Hand Sanitation
The Sanitized fabric hygiene system works to reduce the growth and spread of microorganisms like clostridia and other antibiotic-resistant bacteria. This aids work gloves particularly well because of the build up sweat and the risk of cross contamination from hand to face throughout the day.
Ultimate Industrial have partnered with Sanitized to reduce bacterial risk and to manufacture gloves that not only provide all the protection you'd expect from a work safety glove, but that also keep your hands hygienic and odour free too.
The microbial system is sweat activated, using harmless chemicals woven into the fabric to eliminate harmful bacteria and germs as you work throughout the day.
